Barry Gibb Success!!

Today I got my autograph request back from Barry Gibb.

I mailed a letter complete with a SAE (self-addressed envelope) with a picture, a letter and an IRC TTM (through the mail) on December 7th of last year.

The first photo was signed but the second one was returned with the pieces of paper mentioned in the previous Barry Gibb feedbacks.

- One request only per fan
- Repeat requests will not be honored so other fans can be accommodated
- IRC (International reply coupons) are no longer valid yet the USPS is still supposed to honor them since they're a member of the UPU (Universal Postal Union)

I mailed requests to Eric Close and Enrique Murciano (both from Without a Trace) and another one to Richard Marx last month so perhaps I'll get some more responses from the US. In the meantime, I'll catch up on my domestic successes here in Germany as well.

IRC are still valid, just not sold over in the US. They are still valid so whoever told you they were not is a liar.

And another question, isn't only US postage stamps required?

I honestly don't know. Someone else posted in one of the earlier Barry Gibb feedbacks that they sent more than 1 photo in one envelope. They also stated that one request was for his/her mother. It seems that worked out in that particular case.

And to answer your second question....it is probably better to enclose US stamps instead of an IRC (international reply coupon).
