Re: What criteria you use when selecting photos?

Are you printing it yourself? I print my own (well, I go to a store to print them). When I choose an image it must be a high resolution (much better printing image). Must have a large region of lighter coloring as ideally celebs will choose that area to sign so their sigs are clearer. I always photo...

Re: DVD inserts...

I make a color copy and send the copy for signing. I slip in in front of the original in the cover.

Similarly, with books, I don't want to lose the book, so I send a "book plate" for signing & then stick it in the book

Re: How specific are you when you ask them to personalize?

In books I often ask them to make it out to me. I've occasionally asked them to write happy birthday. I once asked Hugh Laurie to write something specific on a photo as it related to his movie and to me and my parner. He opted to write someone that was slightly different along the same theme (but be...

Re: How to tell if an autograph is live ink or printed

Hello! Does anybody know how to tell if an autograph is actually signed on the photo or if it is printed on? I have a lens to magnify the ink and I am wondering how to tell the difference with it magnified. Thanks! Look at the picture on an angle, so that light reflects off it. If it's signed you c...

Re: Do you have to include a photo with your SASE?

ALWAYS send a photo! It costs not very much for you to print it. Costs them a fortune toot ivied their own for everyone writing to them. If they want to include their own photo when they reply, it's s bonus (& they sometimes do)

Despite assurances from a club secretary that the mail would be passed on, I had an epic failure with an attempt at this

Re: Christopher lee autograph puzzle

Sir Christopher sometimes had secretariats and runner stamps. But I, once sent a card to a footballer. After a couple of years he died (the card hadn't been returned) but his wife found it (signed) & returned it to me. Another much more high profile footballer died just before receiving my reque...

Re: Requesting multiple actors via venue?

Hi, I am looking to send photographs to be signed via venue for Legends of Tomorrow, from several cast members. Can I send these all in one envelope and put in just one SAE to get them sent back together, or would I need to send them all separately which would cost a lot more in stamps!? Thanks :) ...
