Would it be ok if I send a small (210g) video camera to a celebrity with abit of cash and a request for a video greeting?

Uh, No, I don't think I would do that. I'm sure others have tried it before, but highly doubt their gonna send a greeting back. Who were you thinking of sending it to??

The "rule of thumb" in this hobby is to never send something you can't afford to lose. I would think that would definitely be an item you won't want to lose if it doesn't get returned to you.

I wouldn't suggest doing that, no.

The law says that anything you send out in the mail unsolicited is theirs to keep!!
