personalization of items

Unread post by Kat/Texas »

Good Morning. I was wondering, does anyone ever ask that their item not be personalized?
Appreciate all answers.

Kat,

I never usually ask, because I like to have the surprise. However, I like it when they do.

btw, wrong forum, this should probably have been posted in the collecting discussions, or perhaps help.

I ALWAYS ask for my items to be personalized. But in the end it's really up to them if they want to or not. {up} I just like asking for personalization so they don't think I'm going to resell them later on Ebay.

Hello, I was just curious. Most of my things do come back personalized and I don't mind. Everything I have is just for my personal collection. I don't intend to sell anything. I just enjoy the chase!

I always ask for a personaliation, and most of the time they comply.

I don't think I would ever not ask for something to be dedicated - they might wonder why. I would probably not mention a dedication at all, and hope they didn't think to do it.

No! They may think you're going to sell it on eBay the minute you take it out the envelope!
