Your collection is both impressive and shocking. You have a real talent for both desiging the cards and compiling the matte. I have been colecting for nearly 25 years and have run out of space many years ago, which causes me to rotate my collection every 4-6 months.

I am now very seriously considering doing the custom card thing and custom designing the photo collage/matte. Seeing your completed projects makes it really depressing I spent so much time/energy/money on 8x10's  Thank you for sharing this with us. I can only imagine the great conversation you have when family/friends come to your house.

Out of curiosity, how many requests to you send per week, not exact but an average?

It depends. When I first started redoing my mattes. I was resending out how many I did per matte. For example with Law & Order I sent out over 20 in a day or two. Once done. I would send out 2-3 a day depending on if someone new came out or someone I needed was at a new address. Any questions just ask.

Just saw this thread and I must say: WOW. They all look great. My favorite being the John Doe one. That show was great.

Here is the new Smallville matte. As you can see I am still waiting back for some autographs. I also have some open spots for new characters. For example their are 3 spots open for the 3 Justice Society heroes appearing in an upcoming episode. Just waiting for pics of the characters before I send them out.

I mat index cards with 8x10 photos but can only buy single ones off an ebay seller that makes them.

Where did u get such a large mat from? I have almost entire index card sets for several movies and was wanting to do a similar collage as u did here.

Looks great.

Here is an updated Smallville pic. I got a few more cards (Calum Worthy,Alaina Huffman, Emile Ullerup & Phil Morris) signed and was able to matte some other autos (Hawkman, Fate & Sheriff Ethan) to my cards. I also was not sure about the authenticity of my original Welling. But, just purchased this one from Autograph World. One of the few auto companies I trust.

If you are talking about each individual opening? It depends. I have been trying to use trading card size(2 1/2 x 3 1/2 or 3 1/2 x 2 1/2). Or 3x5 openings. Which is where I matte signatures I have on index cards with my custom cards. Remember to cut the matte opening just under what your are matting.

Good luck!
