I have been collecting TTM for over 15yrs. And I especially over the last year reading here. I have so many questions....
-Why do some autos come back so quick and others take years?
-Why is it you send requests numerous times over the years...Then one attempt you get back in a week?
-Why is it someone gets a reply when they sent theirs after yours? And sometimes you don't get a response.
-What happens when a agent gets the request? Do they hold them until a large amount collect and then forward it. Do they wait for the actor to come in to pick them up?
I would love to see Autograph Collector magazine to do a story about this. And follow a TTM request from arrival at the agent to the actual celeb signing.
Someone needs to do a story about sending auto requests....

Great questions! I've wondered these myself.
Also I’d like to why sometimes celebs sign and return photos without a problem, while other times the same celeb refuses to sign the photo another person enclosed and they either send it back unsigned or give that person a new photo.

Send it to autograph magazine, maybe they will do a story about it. I wonder about those same things myself, and I'm sure a lot of ttm collectors do.

Would be very interesting, problem is you need to find an agent/celeb who's willing to tell you!!

You mean those things exist? I never knew that.guilder1st wrote:Send it to autograph magazine, maybe they will do a story about it. I wonder about those same things myself, and I'm sure a lot of ttm collectors do.
But anyway, I'd be against a story. It might tip the scales way to much as far as the number of requests are concerned. I know there are a ton of people collecting autographs, but do a story and there will be three tons of people seeking TTM autographs. I've heard stories about people who signed TTM until they got flooded and then stopped.
