I'm so confused right now, I wrote like 12 lines and I don't know if it's too much or not, it's almost like half a page, is that ok or should I cut some lines?

That sounds fine!

You really want to keep your letter to a single sheet of paper, and if you have said everthing in 1/2 a page then great!
