Cost of stamps

I'm canadian, and if I'm sending a letter to the states, how much would it be?

For example if it was 60 cents a letter, could i get a 50 cent canada stamp, and a 10 cent canada stamp?

I'm Canadian and usually when I send to the USA i buy the Stamps for the US and put on two 80cent stamps. It costs about $1.45 to send to the US using the big brown envelopes and cuz of the weight. Hope that helps!

I'm not sending a big brown one, I'm just sending a letter in a small white envelope
