there are several that I banged my head on the wall for Johnny Cash is one that really sticks out in my mind from a few years ago and the others are a few from the past couple of months.

One problem that I've been encountering lately is that the person passes away shortly after I send my request! This happened to me with Jack Valenti and Charles Lindberg, so I wish I would have written to them earlier.

Also, I wish I would have wrote to Caspar Weinberger, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Nellie Connally, and E. Howard Hunt.

And I also would have loved to get Tom Poston's. I had his address, but never got around to writing to him.

I've also had the experiece of the person passing away right after I write to them. Richard Pryor is a classic example, as is Peter Jennings.

There's also the time I wrote to Gregory Peck after he died. I got the address off an out-dated website (not even on the web anymore) and got the letter back RTS. My mom just laughed, and said "You know why you got that back don't you...you're a day late and a dollar short"

He sent authentics at one point but then requests when overboard and he sent PPs most of the time.
