OK so JM's are allowed to move any topics in the forum, yet we are only restricted in moving topics which are posted in the forum we are assigned to? I think it should be the other way round.
I don't want to come across as rude or anything but I don't think that is fair. I think all of the moderators should be able to move/lock/edit/delete any topics/posts on Fanmail.

Re: Huh?
[agree]
I think we should go back to the previous system of having Junior Moderators assigned to a specific forum, and they could move(lock/delete) topics in just that forum, whilst moderators have privileges in all sections of the forum (except for the Up-to-Date section).
It would make more sense, and the index page would look much less cluttered; with just a link to the Moderators group under "Forum is moderated by" {thumb2}

Re: Huh?
I agree! Because no offense, not all of the JMs can be trusted & they might abuse the power & just delete random topics that shouldn't be deleted.

Umm...I think they're only allowed to move topics, not delete them. :neutral:LEOx3_LOVE wrote:I agree! Because no offense, not all of the JMs can be trusted & they might abuse the power & just delete random topics that shouldn't be deleted.

Re: Huh?
it looks like we can delete post on any forum now. I kept noticing the circle with the slash through it in every post, I just deleted an old spam post out of the hillary duff forum just to see if it would let me

Junior Moderators can:
Move Topics
With the new phpbb3 forum all actions made by a Junior Moderator is stored in the Control Panel and can be viewed by the Admins and Global Moderators.
Sorry but we had to give them more powers. It was too frustrating for them.

If they abuse of their power their rank will be removed and they will be banned. They can not delete topics.I agree! Because no offense, not all of the JMs can be trusted & they might abuse the power & just delete random topics that shouldn't be deleted.
