I sent LOR, three 3r photos, IRC, and self-addressed envelope. I received all photos back in my envelope with a few strips of paper with notes on them. They said that IRCs are no longer valid in the USA. I am not aware of this since I just bought a couple of IRCs May last year and they have an expiration date of December 31, 2017. (Looked it up and found this page on USPS.) Now, I'm worried about all those I sent last year and the ones I still have (I guess other countries still accept IRCs). A second note said that repeat requests will not be entertained to accommodate other fans. The last note said only one item per request please. I sent three. One was for my mom as he is her favorite, the SNL screencap and "Hawks" movie was for me. (Sorry Mr Gibb ^.^')

I wrote a letter to him about the film he wrote, Hawks, starring Timothy Dalton, Anthony Edwards, Janet McTeer, and Camille Coduri. The film was in 1988 and is only available via VHS. I was hoping the film would be released on DVD. It's a very beautiful film. Do check it out on YouTube as it's there. {up}

Congrats for Mr. Barry :) I'm waiting for a success from him from the same address.
Also thank you for an information about the IRC's, because I've sent him an IRC too. So, hmm, hope that some of the sended requests will came back to me :? . lol last 3 requests from USA I've recieved by sending an IRC's but now I can imagine that they probably purchased the postage from their own pockets :oops: :D

It's such a downer that IRCs can no longer be used in the US. I also now feel that for some of the replies I received recently, they may have paid for the postage out of pocket.

I sent to him about 1 month ago so this makes me feel happy :D ...and I attached US stamps 8), but he isn't going to go poor by spending 5 dollars on his fans ;-)
