The dreaded price list. In July, I wrote to him, to the address in the database. And 3 months later I get a postcard refering me to a website, to get a photo signed costs the same as to buy one. Over $25.
Nah. I won't be buying one. I don't pay. I don't have the money for it. He used to sign one for free, and return the rest unsigned. Not anymore, apparently.
I do not think celebrities should be allowed to charge to sign, and I also don't think you should have to send a picture either. If it was not for us fans, they would not be famous.
I sent him 2 photos and $15 a couple of years ago and he signed them both, and I was happy to pay for them.
I have no problem paying celebrities for an autograph. They owe me nothing. For many celebrities who charge, this is really their only form of income now. When was the last time Van Williams was in ANYTHING?
I understand some fans don't want to pay for autographs. For me, not an issue.

capmonte: If I had more money, I might purchase one. But the annoyance was that I hadn't seen before others get the "P L". Sure it had to start with somebody, but why me?
