Goose Gossage Success

I received a 1978 Topps card signed that I sent to Goose Gossage; great looking signature. The turnaround time was pretty quick; sent 1/5/13 and received back 1/12/13. I used the address on file.

I'm trying to collect the signatures of all the HOF'ers that have pretty good signing habits TTM and are fairly reasonably priced.

I sent to Bobby Doerr the other day and I already have Paul Molitor from an IP show a couple years ago.

Doug Harvey, Phil Niekro, Al Kaline, Whitey Herzog, Pat Gillick and Monte Irvin I'll be sending to next week.

Jim Bunning, Andre Dawson, Wade Boggs, Rollie Fingers and Phil Niekro I'll be sending to in the near future.

Any suggestions of anyone that I'm leaving out?

My suggestion is to make sure you know what they charge when you ship them out. For your list to go out next week, here is what I have seen for signing... Doug Harvey and Whitey Herzog are hit and miss. Sometimes they will sign for free and sometimes they return with a price. Phil Niekro and Al Kaline charge, and Pat Gillick signs for free. Also seen on your list thats to go out in the near future that 3 of the 5 charge, and wont sign for free. (Dawson, Fingers & Niekro.)

As for other Hall of Famers that sign, I would just take the time and do the research on them. Thats part of the fun in collecting them. Good Luck and Happy Collecting...

Hey Chad, thanks for the info. I've been looking up the players on the forum and I know that around half of the players on my list will sign for free and the other half charge a small fee...around $25 or less.

More or less, I'm just getting my collection started and I was just wondering if there were any obvious players that I'm happening to leave off my list.
