Stan Musial Failure
2 weeks ago I sent a 8x10 photo, LOR and SASE to Hall of Fame great Stan Musial. I had seen people having success with him as of late and he is one that I have always wanted. Today (10-17-11) I received my SASE in the mail and when I opened it, there was my photo and it was not signed, nor was there any mention of prices, fees, etc. Not sure what to think or what I should try. Any suggestions? I sent to the address in the database.

Re: Stan Musial Failure
Stan The Man now charges. BB cards = $60.00, Jerseys & Bats = $200.00, Anything else = $100.00 with SASE. I think he is doing this just to stop the requests as he doesn't need the money. For his good name I think he should just say I will no longer sign instead of joining the money grabbers. Of course the net result is that prices for his autograph will now go up in value, great for me as I have several from some time ago. I've heard that Ralph Kiner and Don Larson are also charging now, but have no first hand knowledge. I know that Don Newcomb, Ralph Branca, George Shuber, Yogi Berra and Whitey Ford also charge.
BTW does anyone have a recent success with Andy Pafko and/or Smokin' Joe Fraizer, got back a RTS from both at the addresses that had been successful for people a few months ago.
Regards,

Re: Stan Musial Failure
Ralph Kiner is hit and miss. Some days he charges, and some days he will sign for free. I would just send a really nice/kissing up LOR and you will probably get a free autograph. I sent him a photo a few weeks back with a nice LOR and got it right back signed and even added his HOF. His autograph is getting shaky though. Yogi's goes through his museum. I laugh because people on here say they sent to his house and he will sign for free.... not a chance.... to get a REAL Yogi autograph you pay for it through the museum. I know first hand as I am a huge Yogi fan and have a massive Yogi collection. Photos, hats, jerseys, bats, artwork, etc. Happy Collecting.

I would think you would get an RTS from Joe Fraizer, as news broke over the weekend that he's very sick.george2607 wrote:Stan The Man now charges. Re: Stan Musial Failure
Well, trying Stan Musial again today. This time I included $30 bucks as a donation. I have seen people send him less and he signs. Now I can only wait and hope. LOL
Re: Stan Musial Failure
Good luck this time. I think you realize that at his age, and his selective ttm signing habits, it is still a gamble that he will sign. Maybe you will be one of the lucky ones
