Gillian Anderson (X- Files) failure, very disappointed...

I send two pictures (one from the first X files movie and one from the second movie) and a letter about how much I love her work in movies and The X Files around September 16 to this address:

Today I got my photo's back unsigned with a not 'I am sorry but Ms. Anderson no longer signs X files photo's, thanks' To be honest I think that's kind of rude from Gillian towards her fans. I could understand this if the second movie never came, but I don't think 2008 is that long ago and a rumor has it she will be in the Third x Files movie as well. If she doesn’t want to be connected to The X Files anymore then she must stop making movies. Besides she could have provided a photo from herself instead of The X Files photos. Most celebrities got there own photo’s to send. So I am very disappointed!

I don't think it's matter of not wanting to be associated with the X-Files anymore. I think she probably doesn't sign X-Files stuff anymore to avoid people reselling them. Just my opinion, though. I'm sorry for your failure. I love Gillian in the X-Files, but now I know that if I'm to write her I'd avoid Scully photos.

Yeah I can understand that but she could have personalize the photo or send a photo of her own.

Yeah that's why I posted this failure. Because this was a waste of my time and money (I don't have that much at the moment) Good Luck! I won't send her another photo because I am kind of dissapointed in her attitude. But I hope you get more luck then I do.

I deliberately avoided XF pics when I wrote to her and I got mine back signed. I think you'll succeed if you send her something else.

When I wrote I just sent a nice recent picture of her & she signed no problem - for some reason even though it may be a role that made them famous, some celebs dont like signing pictures from that show/role - I know when I wrote to Patrick Stewart several collector friends told me not to send any Star Trek photos (which is fine as am not a Star Trek fan). I don't get it but I guess its up to them what pictures they choose to sign - send something else & you should have no problems & I think she usually only signs 1 item!

I LOVE that pic! Where did you find it? One of my oldest friends is a big GA fan (I like her too but I only know her from XF) and I would love to get her autograph for him, and this pic is beautiful!
