Info needed as to how to request autograph and photo

This may sound dumb, but in reading the rules to request a signed photo, it said I needed to send a photo, too? Of me? Is that correct? Can I send a fan letter alone? Thanks. I'm new to this.

Send a picture of the person you are sending to. You can send a letter alone but some celebrities will send back a fake autograph if you don't send a picture. Also include a self addressed, stamped envelope.

Not a photo of you, but a photo of the celebrity which you will get signed later

i dont send photos myself but if you do send photo make sureit has anough space for signature celebrities dont like signing on their faces ive heard
