i was a little unsure of what to expect as i have heard he was not usually very approachable but he was really really nice... took the time to sign and speak to each person that waited (there were at least 100 people waiting) signed multiples for everyone... spoke to me for a few minutes... seemed to really care about his fans... asked what i thought of the show and specifically the new songs they played... genuinely nice guy... doyle was also very nice but seemed to be a little on the shy side... the tour is almost over (it only had 9 dates total) but if he comes close to you dont miss it! great show... one of the best shows i have ever seen... he sounded great, lots of crowd participation... he stuck the mic in my face at one point during "her black wings" and i got to sing one of the lines... awesome night

That's awesome! Doyle would be the last person I would expect to be seen as "shy". haha I really hope he comes around my neck of the woods. Would be a great show to see.

Just sent out to Iron Maiden via venue...really hope I hear a reply. They seem to be very into their fans this year (as they always are), so it should be a piece of cake.

I just now watched Flight 666 and I was about to write my VV letter to them! Yeah, they'll respond, I got their entire autographs just from writing to Nicko.

Got Ozzy Osbourne's autograph (the same picture everyones been getting), Whitechapel (on a news paper article of their concert), and I got my The Number Of the Beast album that I orded!

This probably doesn't count as 'heavy metal', but I did get Henry Rollins today out of the blue. I sent the request well over 2 years ago...never expected to see it back again. He did sign my 2 pics as well as sign my letter. Great guy.
