However a friend of mine ask him to sign one Ghost Rider comic from the 90's run. The one with the glow in the dark cover 15 I believe. He wrote TEX as big as the entire comic and stated, "This is how I sign for fanboys". I asked him why he acted this way and he couldn't figure it out. Then I met him. Complete ass.
Uhhh...how does this make him a "complete ass"? I'm with Tex on this one as I don't get what the problem is either. TEX is how signs his artwork, so it seems obvious that a fan of his work would love that version of his signature. His "full" signature is just a couple squiggles.
I've met Suydam multiple times as well and he's perfectly cordial if you give him a chance. The money he charges for signatures goes to the Hero Initiative and it's mainly in place to keep the CGC people away. I've never seen him turn down someone who only wanted a single autograph.
I think it has more to do with the fact that he called him a fanboy (a generally derogatory term) and then signed over the entire cover. Most people don't want the artwork completely obstructed by the signature

I have a copy of adv of superman I had as a kid signed by jon bogdanove, tom grummett and karl kesel that I would like to have signed by the entire creative team. Reading the thread it looks like Dan Jurgens is a great signer, anyone know about Brett Breeding, Doug Hazlewood, Roger Stern, Louise Simonson, Jerry Ordway. Do you guys think it would be worth the risk sending to this many people. I am just starting to get signed comics in the mail so any advice would be awesome.
Dan is not a great signer, as I have been the only one to post a recent success from him. I think I sent at the right time. He may have been visiting the office around the time I sent.
Just curious what you have signed by those guys? The white bag ?
I will NOT PM you an address. I will assist you in getting said address. IE: give you pointers on where to get it.

It's only a bad term of you allow it to be. I consider myself a comic nerd IE fanboy
