Production office vs. production company

Post by RobertaRight »

Hi,

I´d have one question concerning movie sets: how do you find an address for the production office if you want to send VV? Because address listed for "production company" isn´t the same, right? Or am I wrong?

Hi RobertaRight,

What film are you trying to write to?

Here's kind of my own experience with it: I've written VV to a production company that has then forwarded on the mail to the set and I've also written directly to the production office. If the only address listed is the company, then that's probably your best bet or you could just try to write the actor seperately and hope for a response. Hope that helps some.

Hi annie985,

and thank you for your kindness and comprehensive answer :) that helped!

I actually didn´t have any particular movie in mind (yet  ) I just didn´t know how the production works..
I read in another thread that it´s no use sending to production company because they have nothing to do with the actual filming.. So I get confused 8)
