Anvil
c/o The Pageant
6161 Delmar Blvd
St Louis, MO 63112
This venue is known to pass on fanmail and they will be performing there on Jan 29th 2010. I'm debating if I should send my copy of "This is Thirteen" with a silver sharpie, or if I should send my dvd sleeve. I'll probably end up sending both

Yeah, seems to me as long as you pick the right venue, he'll hook it up.Lozza 666 wrote:Hi guys, i know HIM isnt really heavy metal, however maybe one of the guys looking through this thread will know. Re: Heavy Metal?
Hey guys, I haven't gotten anything metal since Vinnie Moore, but I think I might be retiring autograph collecting. My parents are getting tired of me constantly using up all the stamps. Do you guys think I should send out my last batch and end or go and buy some stamp books with my own money? I think I've sorta overused the "look I got 2 authentic Slash autographs for just 88 cents!" excuse haha
P.S.- Trixter and Stryper rock!

I think you should either use your own money, or you should convince your parents to give you a "stamp allowance", I'd suggest a nice middle ground of only sending 1 request a week, that seems resonable for both sidesIronJudasCrue41 wrote:Hey guys, I haven't gotten anything metal since Vinnie Moore, but I think I might be retiring autograph collecting. Definitely use your own stamps! This will help you be more effective in who you write, instead of just anyone, plus, if you're limited, you'll appreciate even more who you do get back.IronJudasCrue41 wrote: Do you guys think I should send out my last batch and end or go and buy some stamp books with my own money?
I started collecting when I was 12, and am now 27. That first four years, I took all the stamps from my mom... When she needed to mail things, she eventually started just taking them to the PO, because she knew I'd take the stamps if she brought them home. When I started working, at 16, I pretty much took care of all of it myself, and then by the time Christmas rolled around, she felt proud of me for supporting it myself, and gave me a roll of stamps and stocked me up on envelopes. That has become a tradition now, everyone gets me stamps. I just get a couple books from my girlfriend and brother, but Mom still gives me the roll of 100 every year. And don't think for a second I don't still try and bum stamps off of my mom throughout the rest of the year! It's just not as often, so she doesn't get that ticked off.
