Why are there UK stamps on your SASE? You said you sent a SAE to a venue in Canada!? Do they use UK stamps in Canada?

No, it's just that Britain used to "control" Canada, until Canada became indepenent, but as respect they put Queen Elizabeth II on stamps, money etc.
