As many of you already know, I am going on vacation to America. The flight is super long, and by the time I get there my IPod Touch will be dead  I was wondering if it would delete my songs/music? Or if there was any way preventing this?
Need help, please! Going away this Thursday (2days)
Have a fantastic summer, to you all!

I know I tried that the first time I needed to charge my ipod while I was away and it will delete your songs. They do make an charger that you can charge by plugging into the wall, instead of your computer. I'm not sure how expensive it is, since my sister gave me her extra one, but it is worth it. That way you don't worry about deleting what you have on your ipod.
When it runs out of power it deletes the songs?! Really or is this a joke? If not, I am completely stunned. I have always considered any Apple product something not worth my time but the stupidity of this is indeed beyond words.
No, what they mean is if they try and charge it with another computer other than the one they installed the Ipod software on, it will delete the songs. I'm not sure why. At least that's my take on what there asking. Doesn't happen with MP3's I know that.
It will only delete your songs if you tell it to sync when you hook it up to a different computer. Just make sure it doesn't sync and you will be fine.
