Al Pacino - authentic or not?

Unread post by Ruwon22 »

Hi,

This is what I received on Dec-29-08 - please refer to my Feedback post.

I've read several threads that this is signed by his secretary. Can someone show me where to find some kind of proof for this opinion? To me his signature looks quite authentic. Thanks for help! {thumb2}

Yes unfortunately that is indeed secretarial. Isitreal has a comparison on their website, that includes an example that looks just like yours.

An example of an authentic Al Pacino full signature you can find here.

Al Pacino is an excellent signer in person, but you will very rarely get a full signature out of him; he mostly just signs Al.

Thanks for the references guilder1st!

When I look at the "authentic" ones I think that the "secritatial" ones are quite matching the "Al" style - the "Pacino" is quite different - even at the "authentic" ones. Just my thoughts - I'm far away from being an expert.... what do other users think?

The last one you posted is interesting - looks like that this was made in a rush or something - but when it's an in-person one - WOW - great success! {up}

Not so much in a rush, it's just what you'll get in person.
Sometimes it's even less.
Another example of what you'll get when you meet him(taken from autographworld.)

If you can see the stroke marks. If you look at it closely you can see if it's printed.

There was never a question if the autograph was preprinted.
The question was if it was signed by a secretary or not.

No it's not authentic, his TTM never is, and Crumbs, what a rubbish autograph IP like ANYONE on the planet can sign like that.

There's no way that even, if you got a IP autograph from him, that anyone would believe you.

Al Pacino's is well known to send out sec- autos TTM. As the IP scans show, his TTM and IP is not even close!

As for this comment - what are you on about?? The autograph is clearly not printed and the member is asking if it is a sec- and not if it is a PP. :?
