How Long Have People Been Collecting

It's been about a year and a half now. I just recently started collecting again though. I stopped in mid - 2007.

I got my first autograph when I went to this local car racing thing and I met one of the drivers. I was 7 or 8.
Then from there it was just baseball players and Nascar racers that I met at shows until I was..11?
I don't care for that stuff anymore.
I started actual through the mail requests when I sent away for an autograph from Demetra from Spy Kids 3. That's kind of how it all started in 2005/2006.
Went really crazy with sending stuff out Summer of '06, then stopped in 2007 when I wasn't getting anything back anymore with 15 or so requests still floating around out there.
I had wanted to start up again but never got around to buying envelopes and stamps.
So I just recently started again at the end of March.

Even though I have it marked on this site "2008", I've actually been collecting on and off again since about 2000. I have a lot of autographs from people who's work I have truly enjoyed, and of course a few extras who I like.

This year, I am starting over (well obviously just adding to the collection) in a way. I feel the inspiration to start again, and already have a head start for 2008 with my Krystal Blue and 2 Don Eddy autographs.

I have been collecting on and off for about three years but I don't write letters as often as I should. I tend to get more in person than I get through the mail. However, I am, starting from this year, going to write a lot more letters.

I got my first autograph in October 2005, but I wasn't so fond of collecting at that time. I started properly in 2006.

Got my first auto in 2006, just wrote once that year, once last year and this year i have started trying to get more autos now that ive found fanmail!

Well, I went to see the Dancing On Ice tour in 2007, and one of the skaters mentioned sending TTM, and I asked and he basically said that celebrities agents foward letters and they send an autograph if you send a SASE, and he did say it really quick because he had about 100 fans to get through, so I googled it and found this site.
It was around April 2007, so coming up to a year
