Will you keep the envelope?

I think it used up a lot of spaces to store the envelope....
It just got my name & address on it...so I am thinking should I keep it or not?
If you keep it,what will you do?

I used to put the envelopes along with my antographs in my file but it started to take up a lot of space, and people who look through my file isn't interested in the envelopes - they want to see the autographs! {thumb2} So, what I do now is I only place my autographed photos in my file and I write on the envelopes (with pencil) who's autograph came in it. Then I store the envelopes separetly in my room. I would never through them away though.

I cut out the stamps for some reason and keep those, but throw the rest of the envelope away because my own hand-writing doesn't mean that much to me if a political/royal institution uses their own envelope to send a reply to me, I keep that. I'll never throw away my Buckingham Palace, 10 Downing Street, etc envelopes, as they bear important emblems/insignia.

I have a little black book and I write down all the addresses in it.
You know, the return address in the up left corner. Then I toss out the envelope.
I just like to have the addresses on file ;)

i dont bother keeping the envelopes, afterall its the autograph or letter im interested in not an envelope with my own handwriting on!

if it has my handwritin (SASE), i don't keep it.

I dont see why anyone would keep their SASEs, theres no reason to. :neutral:

Now envelopes written by the stars, yes I could understand (but personally, I dont keep those either).

Yes, I keep ALL my envelopes! I have them organized by last name in two different plastic bins (A-M & N-Z) I'll take some photos so you guiys can see

I am doing the same things like u...
when the collections grown bigger,more & more envelopes received..
Just want to see how's ppl doing with their SASE...
I might keep those with stamps on it
