Maybe because it was a Harry Potter cover ?
I wrote to Alan Rickman twice. First time talking about HP in my letter (and of course all the others movies I love, not only HP) and with a photo of professor Snape. And got a negative answer for his assistante (telling he was too busy, and working abroad).
Second time without talking about HP and with neutral photo of him, and I've got an autograph...so maybe it's because of "Harry Potter" ??

It was TTM, but maybe even IP he doesn't like to sign Harry Potter's items ?
I can be wrong.

I've heard that Alan doesn't like to sign HP Items because they often end up on Ebay, etc. I didn't mention HP at all in the later letters that I wrote to him...

Well done.

I know they, where in a rush and all that, but sometimes the dodles, you get from celebs, dont look like anything.

I had that, both TTM and IP, a clear JD would have done.

But I must say, this is an absolutely amazing success.

Well done James!!

At the Pirates 2 premiere, JD only signed one thing per person (who could reach him anyway!)...it's because there are so many autograph sellers at premieres but he wants to sign for the fans...so signs one per person to make sure each fan is happy and autograph collectors can't go making loads of money from numerous signed items. I hope that makes sense! {thumb2}

At Least, JD does sign. Yes it is a bit of trouble, for celebs who are more then happy to sign free, just to end up on ebay.

I would hate that. I would kinda feel very slightly used, if I was them
