As for their forum, they've made major changes to the overall layout over the last few days (e.g. adding extra sub-forums and renaming them differently to how they're presented here). Unfortunately, the only members who only seem to post in there are the moderators (and given they only have 20 members at present adds to the issue ).

It also appears that they've removed Andy316 from their memberlist. When I did manage to get a peek at their Mod forum before they locked it, one of the things they mentioned was they didn't want to attract problem members to their forum - Andy316 being one of them (they didn't mention him by name, but it was fairly obvious who they were talking about). I think Rockman2007's treatment of Andy316 was way out of line.

First off, i cannot believe someone was acutally silly enough to make a forum exactly like this one. Did they think they would not get caught?? I guess not.

I think that some of the members should be banned due to the fact that they crossed the lines of user agreements on this site and plagiarized almost word for word. It is unfair to all those who work terribly hard on this site to find addresses, keep them updated and work for hours finding addresses that some of these users requested only to find that they wanted it for their own site or are taking it. That is VERY inconsiderate. If they wanted to make their own forum regarding autograph collections that would be fine, but why copy this site.

I know that they can come back as guests and keep stealing but i think something should be done.

Joel you did a great thing by sending that email to them. I hope they do respond to it. Thanks for helping us out Joel.

Whoa...I must have missed the Reply To Topic Notification email, because at last look, this thread had only a couple posts...now action has been taken, and nothing further can be done.

One thing I would like to ask about is the whole "International Copyright Laws" issue...., are they really breaking inernational laws by copying some threads from here? Are we really looking to get them into trouble with Interpol (or whomever handles that stuff) just because they created a rival forum?

I think the whole point would be not exactly get them in trouble by authorities, but more to try and have the forum shut down for violating the Terms of Service (at the very least).

One thing i find really odd, is how a few of our moderators are now moderators there. I don't know if it's allowed but it just shocked me considering all the talk about it.

You've missed one of their mods, nowandagain. James is also one of their mods. If you look under their "The Autograph Foundation" and "Meeting the Celebs!" you will see James listed as a mod.
