Whenever I request for an autograph, I type a short letter and finish with 'please may I have a signed photograph. Good luck for the future'.

I write my letter, then at the end I usually say, "If it's not too much trouble, could I please get an autograph? I would really appreciate it. Thanks and good luck with everything!"

yeah..
actually, I remember writing it once on this humongous pink letter to Johnny Depp.. I laughed at my own letter (because of the #1 thing) that I'd spent over 4 hours on, but didn't want to use white-out on it and sent it like that. Never used it since.
I just use 'sincerely' or 'looking forward to your next movie,' or whatever sure it's more common, but it's less irritating.
sure it's more common, but it's less irritating.
