I've already written a draft of what I want to write, I also know honestly I guess it shouldn't be more than a page. I'm just throwing this out there but do you think if you write a letter and send it off (either requesting a photograph or just the letter) without sending the actual photo along with the letter do you think you'll get a response back?

Introduction to Set Up Fan Mail Letter
Hello!
I've joined this site in hopes of writing to my favorite actors. Not sure per say if I'm in pursuit of becoming an autograph collector, but this is definitely something I want to do. As for the set up, I'm not an actual novice to the concept I've researched I know if you want something back you have to have the SASE envelope. I guess in more specifics, I was wondering can it be hand-written like any letter? Or would stationery be nice for the letter?

Re: Introduction to Set Up Fan Mail Letter
I always send my own photo but a lot of celebs will send out their own.
Look up the actors you are interested in here and read the feedback, see if the successful member has sent their own photo or not etc.
As for letters, been discussed lots, general consensus is handwritten is much better. You can use any paper or stationary that you want to.

Re: Introduction to Set Up Fan Mail Letter
I just wrote a fan letter which I have yet to send. I typed it out first to get the wording and grammar right before I put pen to paper.
