Long time collector here.
I started in 2005 or 2006. After attending so many shows and realizing how cool it was to get fighter autographs and take pics with the badasses of the planet, I wanted to figure out how to grow my collection.

I started a project to get an autograph from every fighter to ever fight in the UFC, but with the rapidly expanding group of fighters especially from out of the country - I narrowed it from UFC 1 to UFC 150.

1159 Fighter autographs obtained, 217 to go to have every fighter through UFC 150. I have over 200 outstanding items that I'll likely never get back. I have gotten them on 8x10's, Official Signed Posters, Glove, Hats, Trading Cards and Index Cards. The medium used isn't really important to me as much as the autograph. Through this hobby, I've met a lot of other great collectors and have had a ton of help along the way.

I had 5 fights and retired at 5-0. Last fight was in 2004 on a card that would end up featuring 7 UFC veterans. (Xtreme Kage Kombat) but realized I wasn't very good and if I was to increase the level of my opponent, I'd really have to step my game up so instead I retired undefeated and have now been judging fights for about 12 years. I have judged for Bellator, RFA, Midwest Cage Championship and many other smaller promotions. I've judged about 30 fighters that have gone to the UFC and really enjoy sitting back and watching two people fight.

My collection speed is slowing down because so many of the fighters from the early days are hard to track down. Oh well, I'll continue trying.
