Gene Wilder (need a second opinion)

I sent a photo to Gene Wilder from Willy Wonka and also got the stamp but still had Peter Ostrum autograph the photo. I know Peter's is real so Gene's is no big deal.

why does every time a celeb stops signing someone says that it`s because of too much fanmail or ebay ect...Adam West stopped signing(he was just about to due some Fanexpos and other appearances)when he was done ,he started signing again.Gene Wilder was signing up a storm and without warning the stamps started rolling out.If you look at the timeline on this starting and the announcement of the O.C. Card private signing.It doesn`t take a Rocket Scientist to see that this is a contract obligation.The celebs don`t just sign the items sent in. O.C. has them sign numerous items and stock pile them to sell after the signing is over at a higher rate than the presell price$$ of the signing.. Let the dust settle near the end of the year he might be back to signing Legit ttm.

Yeah you are right. They stop signing when they do appearances and other things. If someone wants Adam West's autograph you can always goto his website and they are prices very low. I have tried Wilder over they years a few times and never got him yet.

I got a real one (two actually, in one envelope) from Wilder and neither were personalised. But there was nothing from Wilder for a long time until more people started finding his home address and taking liberties with it. So it is completely possible being inundated with a sudden surge in fanmail was at least partly responsible for the stamps
