That's great! Fortunately I got her autograph on several photos over 20 years ago when she was still actively signing. Then she stopped for many years and had all fan mail stamped REFUSED.

@cjhanson That's great! I sent to her just on the off chance she would actually sign. I wasn't expecting to actually get a reply. I'm only 24 so so I haven't been collecting for very long. (About 2 years- well through the mail, I have been doing IP's a lot longer than that.) I would have started even earlier but I didn't actually realize people still signed through the mail. lol...but that's okay because my mother collected autographs from the 1950s-1970s and has given me all of hers so I have a lot!

@ackroyd well right now she is over in England and then she is coming back and her daughter is getting married so she'll be busy through til the end of July sometime. She must have sent mine out like right before she left. (i know this because of her facebook.) but she is a hard person to get to sign through the mail. She picks and chooses it seems with a lot of people...and rarely ever actually signs. I was surprised to get mine back. I think the reason she chose to sign for me though is I wrote her a personal letter and explained that she is one of my all time favorite actresses and that she is someone I look up to because she's spoken publicly about her bi polar disorder and I am bi polar as well..and she first came out publicly about it (in full detail) right around the time that I was diagnosed...and that it really helped me through the process etc. So I'm figuring that's why she chose to sign. I can't wait til she gets back and goes online so I can thank her! It means so much to me!
