{up} they're posters size is irrelevant besides not of them are 4x6

No--I think you need to look up the definition of the word "poster".

It's called being accurate in your post. Feedback isn't about you--it's about showing other people who might consider sending what they can expect.

Yours is an example of what happens when you send 4x6s, not when you send posters.

Speaking off, I don't know who you think you're fooling, but unless you made your own envelope (which I highly doubt, those are 4x6s.

They're too big to be 3x5s and they're the wrong ratio to be 5x7's (which wouldn't fit in a standard envelope of those dimensions anyway).

So, either you're lying about them not being 4x6s (albeit slightly trimmed 4x6s) or you're lying about that being the envelope they came in.

Which is it?

MW

Get a grip and stop taking everything so seriously on here. It's just a hobby.

Get out and get some fresh air, or God forbid, go on a date.

I'm not going to fight with you. I'm sorry to disappoint you, as that seems to be your only reason for creating this post.

I don't know how many times I have to say it, or why I should bother, as you all seem to have serious problems comprehending what you read, but once again:

Feedback is about being as accurate as possible so people reading the posts know what to expect. Hundreds of dollars annually lies in that balance, especially with stamp prices rising continuously.

So yes, it's a hobby, but it's a hobby where misrepresenting your feedback (calling facsimiles authentic, calling 4x6s posters, etc.) can cause someone else to lose money that they wouldn't have otherwise spent.

Since so many of you have trouble grasping that concept, here's the reason behind each of the required aspects of the post:

DATES SENT & RECEIVED: Helps illustrate a signing pattern when paired with other feedback and a turn around time. Also shows that the address sent to is valid currently, as opposed to a years old success, which do get posted here from time to time.

THE ADDRESS: Addresses change. Feedback is listed just as much for the address as they are for the celebrity. That's why admin always posts the exact database address in the thread instead of leaving it as "Sent to address in database" that so many posters use. These posts don't delete themselves when addresses change, and just because a person signed at one agency doesn't mean they'll sign through another.

WHAT WAS SENT & RECEIVED: I touched on this briefly above. Some celebrities won't sign certain things. Some refuse to sign index cards, some only sign index cards (rare, but it happens), some won't sign posters TTM, some won't sign work from a specific movie, some won't sign pictures from a certain era, and so on.

Feedback isn't about the OP. At all. The OP already knows all this--they sent it.

Feedback is about educating the readers of the post and showing them what they can expect if they duplicate the OP. If the OP misrepresents anything, then they're risking monetary loss for those other people.

That's why the "Has Anyone Had A Success With This Address?" forum exists and is so popular: People, and rightfully so, don't want to waste their money.

It's the same response to the private address successes: If you don't want to help your follow collectors, put it in Autograph Collecting Discussions, not Feedback.

Have to agree with MW, these are not posters or poster size.

1) They're smaller versions of movie posters, which I believe is what the OP meant. However, for the reasons I already explained, that's misleading, as the size makes a poster, not the content.

2) The last line of your post serves no function outside of further increasing the tensions of this thread. This board is already angry enough.
