Jim Rice Success!!! Only took a billion tries!
So cool! I have written to Mr. Jim Rice at least twice before at the address is the database and also care of the hall of fame and after receiving four of those letters back with cards unsigned in my return envelopes, today I got one back signed! I couldn't believe it! The only problem is that I have absolutely no idea which address finally worked! Still I couldn't be happier! Which hall of famer should I stalk next lol?

Great success! I got him in person a few months ago, (he was happy surprisingly).
As to which Hall of Famer to try next, I do t know who you have but Ralph Kiner, Tommy Lasorda and Jim Bunning are very reliable TTM.

I do have Jim Bunning as well as Wade Boggs, Billy Williams, Perry, Fingers, Doerr and a few others. I have tried Ralph Kiner three or four times now even sending him 20 bucks and writing "donation enclosed" on the envelope and has gotten RTS every time! Do you have any advice or an addy that might help me?
I've also gotten about...oh I dunno 433,231 RTS from Joe Morgan as well lol!

Ralph Kiner is horribly unreliable...so is Tommy Lasorda for the most part. Bunning will sign for you and really quick turn arounds...throw $5 in there for cards...$10 for baseballs. There are many HOF'ers that will sign TTM...if you're looking for free ones though, you've about gotten all the free guys. Whitey Herzog will sign cards for $5...Doug Harvey is the same. Pat Gillick is also cheap.Uncle Sam wrote:Great success! I got him in person a few months ago, (he was happy surprisingly).

Believe it or not I managed to get herzog, al kaline, Sandberg, gillick, bunning, boggs, doerr, fingers, perry, billy Williams, and gossage without sending any money! My RTS's were banks, berra, Morgan, banks and kiner more than once each. I sent fergie Jenkins 10 bucks but still haven't heard anything back. Anyone know any addys for some of these tougher guys? My four year old son and I have been doing this together and the little drawings he includes seem to have helped. He's a baseball encyclopedia. It's pretty cool!

You won't be getting Berra anymore TTM...period! He's solely signing with Steiner and from what I hear, his upcoming signing in February w/ Steiner will be his last. He's made it known that he's done with signing autographs after that. And, if you want him...its $180 for that signing...best bet is to buy one off of ebay at this point. Banks rarely does signings...can't get him TTM anymore either. His last signing was around $50 I believe and those are about once a year.
Fergie Jenkins is very easy TTM...may just need to wait longer to get your item back...Morgan typically signs but only IC's...he's become more hit and miss. Kiner..there is no rhyme or reason for him..he just signs when he wants and RTS's everything else. I've never gotten him TTM...always RTS.

Wow 180??? That's...kinda nutty lol. I LOVE Yogi but I couldn't see paying that...some of the guys who have already passed away can be had for a LOT less than that. I bought a signed topps certified signature autographed card for stan Musial for only fifty and I only paid 100 for the mickey mantle I have...it's really hard to justify THAT much...ill just be patient about Jenkins and ill try kiner and Morgan again. Thank you guys all for your help. If you think of any other ideas, please let me know!

So thats not completely true about Yogi. For starters, YES he has done signings with Steiner Sports, but not "solely" with Steiner. Why would a guy who has his own museum and does autographs through the museum cut autograph ties to signe for just Steiner. I did just check out Yogi's site and I noticed that there isnt any info on prices and such if you wanted to send in your own item to get signed. Makes me wonder if his 88 years are catching up with him and now its just the stuff that they sell that is signed. Price aren't that much for him, considering what he means to baseball. I believe I seen 8x10 at $80. Its a great company to buy from. I'm a huge Yogi fan and have an entire room of just Yogi stuff. Signed jerseys, pants, hat, over a dozen photos, baseballs, bat.. you name it I got it. Also have all of his cards from when he played, along with old magazines. I've met him 3 times, but most of the stuff has gotten signed through the comapny. His boys know who I am when I cal. They gave me the nickname of farm boy, cause I live in Iowa. LOL.. If you really want a nice piece to add to your HOF collection, get a photo frmo there, so you know its legit...

Kiner is horrible TTM! Very hit or miss!
I was lucky enough to get him on my first try, but it took about a year.
Several people I know sent to the same Addy I used only to get an RTS.
