When I wrote him I did write a nice letter, don't know if "long enough" but it was quite sincere. I did send a DVD cover and a photo, only the cover got auto-penned. Maybe it has to do with what you are sending to him?I wrote a typed letter ONCE, only once, and it was for my first success, more than a year ago. I could try... I would love to have a signed photo from him as he is one of my favorite actors.

I think also it would be better if you sent him one item instead of two also considering is signature is worth more money than other celebrities and it is simply more polite because some celebrities hate it when people send multiples. Take for example Chevy Chase. He signed authentically for a long time but he hated people sending multiples all the time so he stopped signing and uses auto-pen now. I have tried to get him three times with no luck.
