Good for you! But I wouldn't bring that up bc people can get out of hand and be very immature when it comes to that. But congrats to you!

I understand completely. In fact, I usually refrain from discussing the subject, since so many people on both sides of the issue are so opinionated about it.

Truth be told, I don't really see THAT much difference between someone posting e-mail addresses here and this site having an entire database of postal addresses, but I would ask that people refrain from the typical debate on the issue. Although I realize that e-mail is far more susceptible to spamming, in reality, regardless of our chosen methodology, we're all engaging in some form of solicitation of something from celebrities that we do not really know.

For those of you who are really desperate to find e-mail addresses, I would suggest that you take similar steps to what I usually do:

1) Don't waste your time begging on this site or "trading" with others - go to a site that actually keeps a record of e-mail responses. I use one that I've mentioned in a previous posting, and I have listed every one of my 1,000 e-mail successes over the past three years there;
2) Use Google to find out if there are any e-mail addresses associated with the postal addresses you find on this site - the worst that can happen is that they will tell you to send something in the mail;
3) Check Facebook or Twitter for individual e-mail addresses or websites - some of them actually tell you to request autographs that way;
4) Last but not least, don't expect to be anywhere close to being universally successful - there are some celebrities that will NEVER send anything out, no matter how you ask them, and, even though I average receiving one item in the mail every day, for every person that sends me something, there were probably at least 10 others that didn't.

One final footnote for those of you who are interested:

the total cost of my 1,000 plus autographs: $ .00, with a TON of sweat equity.
