The truth of the matter, is if you wanted someone on that set, you should have already sent it. Getting mad cause now it will be spammed is a waste. Just cause you didn't send out already and you're mad that now there's no chance because YES it will get spammed, is childish. It's just the way it works. If you wait to see if someone gets back something then you must not care that much.

Yeah I know sometimes it's a waste of time and money to send out blindly, but frankly if you want some sort of guarantee then save your stamp money and buy from a dealer or celebrity authentics or something. Don't come on here and whine and moan about people spamming a set. It sucks, its a fact of life, and a fact of this hobby.

Get over it and worry about some real problems.

Oh no, you might not get your stuff back signed and kids are starving, dying and much worse in some less fortunate places on this planet. Count your blessings and stop complaining, be happy that you get the things back you do.

Wow, well said. I wish I could put it into words like you. This hobby is almost akin to betting. When you place money in a bet, you need to be prepared to lose it all. Now, if money is tight and you are not prepared to gamble $$ on sending a request, then it is probably not wise to do it. If people wish to wait for a response before sending their request, that is definately fair enough. But logic denotes that many others will be persuing that same strategy. A minority of people on here blow a fuse over the audacity of ''spamming'', when they are in fact merely doing the exact same thing they are ;)
Another glorious thing about vv collecting is that there will always be another movie. If this one does not work, there will be another just around the corner.

I'd be very surprised to see another Paltrow success from that address. It'll probably get spammed now because the address has been on the forums two different places.

I don't think that many people sent out letters to Ms. Paltrow before that person reported a success from her. In any case, I sent her a card welcoming her to NC, a small photo and SASE to the address yesterday.

Hopefully she got it today, and reply. *crosses fingers* I would like to get the IM3 cast IP, but security is tight here. I'll be vacationing in the Southport/Oak Island area in the next few weeks... maybe I'll see them at a restaurant or something.

I have no clue if you are talking to me but I am far from mad. I don't care at all. I was just stating that it will get spammed now... because it will Saying that doesn't mean I am jealous or mad.
