Just checked my records and I sent that jersey to Drew Bledsoe on 2/3/11, which means it took 484 days to get a success. If nothing else, I hope this lets some of you who are new to the hobby know to be patient and never give up hope that something will eventually come back. This is certainly not a common thing, but here's proof positive that it does happen from time to time.
Some favorites from my collection, so far, are...

Favorite IP Autographs: Chris Cooley, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Faith Hill, John Riggins, Bruce Smith

Favorite TTM Autographs: Stephen Davis, Jim Lachey, Peyton Manning, Mark McGwire, Chris Samuels

Favorite Sports Teams: Washington Redskins, Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox

Thanks, yeah it was definitely a gamble. He is one of the few non-Redskins autographs that I wanted, and I happened to have the jersey (which didn't fit me anymore either), so I gave it a shot. This is actually my second success sending a jersey TTM, got Gus Frerotte a couple of years ago. Not something I do very often, but I have 2 returns and 1 pending on jerseys so far. I have been VERY lucky

Hey guys, I have a football that I would love to send up to the Packers. Do you think they will pass it around and sign it? or would it just be a waste of money to send it? Also, how do you get the jersey numbers? you kno like they sell the "lot of jersey numbers" i wouldnt even mind gettin some of those and sending them up there

If you ask for it to be signed by every Packer, I doubt you will get it back. The safest way is to send to one then send to another then another. Usually only show hosts and cast will pass it around, but who knows? It is the Packers

i agree with knicksfan, but you never know. the Packers, from both my experience and many others, are arguably the best team when it comes to signing ttm. if its something that you wouldnt mind losing or it doesnt have a whole lot of value (maybe a team poster?) i'd say just go for it becuase you never know, they might get a bunch of them to sign it. besides, you would save a lot more money on postage by doing it that way. its a gamble, but thats what makes this hobby so much fun. ultimately the choice is yours, you just have to weigh the risk vs reward. just make sure that you send an SASE, especially with something bigger like a football. and personally, instead of just sending it to the team, i would send it c/o a player, like Greg Jennings, Donald Driver, Mike McCarthy etc. (all very reliable signers) and ask if at all possible if they could get a bunch of other guys to sign it too. thats just my opinion though. Good luck!!
