Whatever. She goes by Clara Kappelhoff now. She has completely turned her back on hollywood. I don't believe for a second that anything that has been signed by mail "by her" is her actual signature. She went kinda nuts when her son died and embraced animals and that was not hollywood or her fans.redgravedisciple wrote:LOL prettykittyjenna...I felt the same way seeing this.
It's 100% authentic...Ms. Day is great to her fans!

And yet it's not called the Clara Kappelhoff Animal Foundation.prettykittyjenna wrote:Whatever. She goes by Clara Kappelhoff now. She has completely turned her back on hollywood. And I'll pose the same question to you that I posed the person above: Are you saying that she's had the same person personalizing the autographs for 20+ years, but a different person signing them?

Yes, she probably signed up until when her son died and then went into a state of depression and became hollywood's famous hermit that she is today.MW1221 wrote:And yet it's not called the Clara Kappelhoff Animal Foundation.prettykittyjenna wrote:Whatever. But she never personalized the photos herself? I find that kind of hard to believe.prettykittyjenna wrote:Yes, she probably signed up until when her son died and then went into a state of depression and became hollywood's famous hermit that she is today.MW1221 wrote:And yet it's not called the Clara Kappelhoff Animal Foundation.prettykittyjenna wrote:

Congrats on your success!
I got a response from Doris Day and the signature looks similar but its not the same, the D is written differently. Hope mine isn't a secretary signed one

Prettykitty is showing her claws...you're like a different person with this thread.
I will always feel great that my signed photo was proven authentic by PSA/DNA...I don't know why people are so intense of hating her...

LOL my claws? For one thing I absolutely do not hate Ms. Day. She's one of my favorite singers. But I don't live in a bubble either. I know she had a mental breakdown in a sense after her son died and that the last 20 years she's been using a secretary to sign her mail. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out and plus the mail is sent to Kentucky. Seriously? She lives in Northern California.

As previously pointed out, this envelope is clearly postmarked from CA.prettykittyjenna wrote:redgravedisciple wrote:Prettykitty is showing her claws...you're like a different person with this thread.

Well it is not her signing. Do we really have to drag this out?MW1221 wrote:As previously pointed out, this envelope is clearly postmarked from CA.prettykittyjenna wrote:redgravedisciple wrote:Prettykitty is showing her claws...you're like a different person with this thread.

We wouldn't if you could explain to me why I should believe that in 20+ years, she's had the same secretary personalizing her autographs, though she signed them for herself for a fraction of that time.prettykittyjenna wrote:Well it is not her signing.
