Adam West Failure! RTS
Sent on 4/10/12, 2 8X10 photos, LOR and SASE. Today I received my package RTS! After reading everyone's posts I thought he was a signer. Look at the envelop where it's hand written "Return to sender". Is that not his handwriting? Very Disappointing.

Hmmm... looking at the other Adam West RTS post, it looks like he's being picky about what he signs TTM. I know he sells autographed pictures online and he's probably looking to increase his sales (which I don't blame him!).

Wow, that most certainly does look like his handwriting. Like The Hancock Hunter said, he's probably tired of signing for free and wanting to up his sales of signed photos. Still, it seems rare for someone to sign for so long then suddenly stop... there are lots of celebs who sign despite having websites where they sell their autograph. Julie Newmar and Robert Englund are two that immediately come to mind.
Sorry for your RTS... maybe let some time pass, see if he starts to sign again and send another? Or maybe try sending to "Mayor West" or "Batman" instead.

Try decorating the heck out of the outside of the envelope. Lots of stickers and markers. Make it stand out.
Re: Adam West Failure! RTS
Try using an address label that has just your name, instead of business. He may have thought it was some sort of bus. solicitation. Just a suggestion. He seemed to go through a peroid a few years ago where he wouldn't sign TTM, then started up again. Worth another shot. Good luck.

I agree. The first thing I thought when I saw the envelope was it looks very businesslike.StevenQ wrote:Try using an address label that has just your name, instead of business. I also like handwriting better than typewriting because it looks more personal.
But in this case, it probably doesn't matter since it seems Mr. West is refusing fanmail.
I'm still waiting for a reply myself.

he went back to charging people again
Re: Adam West Failure! RTS
ALL I HAD SENT HIM WAS A LOR, SASE, AND INDEX CARD IN A HANDWRITTEN ENVELOPE WITH HANDWRITTEN RETURN ADDRESS.
HE MUST OF JUST STOPPED RECENTLY?

Thanks for the replies everyone! I may try again in the future. I hear ya on my business address. I usually have everything sent there since I display them in my shop. The customers love it! Here's a few pics of my shop walls.
