Al Kaline Failure!!!!

I sent Al Kaline a ROMLB with a $25 donation on 11/26/11 and received my ball in (MY) SASE back unsigned along with my $25. I guess I caught him on a bad day. Oh well, its not the end of the world.

did you send cash or check. he will only sign with cash included. no checks

he is hit/miss tho but most of the time its b/c people try sending checks

I sent him cash. I already knew he was hit or miss. But it was definataly worth the try. I will try again soon. Maybe I should send him back and include a birthday card. His B-day is the 19Th of December.

I was curious because I have never had a problem with him in person and he has always been a willing signer.

The reason for the question was that I thought he was refusing because he signed for you once already this year.

I would think that cash is cash and he would just sign. It may have been a timing thing, he may have got the package to close to the holiday and he was in a bad mood.

He does turn the requests around pretty quick when he does return them.

$40 cash should get your ball signed...he's never had a set amount...but it seems to be a magic $ for ROMLBs
