Sent LOR and card in SASE to John Franco on 6/14/13 and today 6/18/13 I received my card back unsigned and an 8 x 10 signed in a larger envelope. I definitely know its signed by somebody and its not a pre-print but I am having a hard time figuring out if its a sec. or not because when I look up his autograph on google images all the images had a different J and F. Unfortunately I don't have a scanner.
address used:
John Franco
c/o New York Mets
Citi Field
123-01 Roosevelt Avenue
Flushing, NY 11368-1699

I believe he still works for the Mets, so I'd give it a try.

don't bother he no longer with the mets
Actually he still works for them. He is a baseball operations advisor in the front office since last year.
So yes, the address IS VALID.
