Ohh my goodness this is truly a huge honor I grew up watching Doris Day movies with my mother who adores her- and I thought with my new Autograph Hobby- I would try to get a signature from Doris for my Mom and I... I WAS SHOCKED and thrilled by my quick-response.. and Doris's sweet- kind words..personalized comments for us- AND she signed 2 8 x 10 photos.. one for my mom.. and one for BOTH of us!- WHAT A WONDERFUL LADY!! Another thread with arguments about how Doris Day uses a secretary to sign her fan mail.

According to an article I read last year, Doris Day still receives over 500 letters per week. Do you think she really has the time and energy to answer 500 letters every week at her advanced age? If she signs two autographs per letter that amounts to her signing and inscribing 1,000 photos per week. A difficult task for someone of any age.
