This was the first real TTM request I'd ever sent. I sent a LOR, photo, and SASE to Maestro John Williams, my favorite composer at the end of June 2008. I received back my photo and envelope about mid-May 2009, almost a year later. I had completely forgotten I sent it. I can say this is authentic because I had an in person success with him in 2012 and watched him sign. All the signatures I've seen of his on this forum resemble each other but are not so close that they are auto penned. I used the address provided on the database.

So if you send one off to him, be prepared to wait! Happy hunting, everyone!

And to specify, I did not use the address for Symphony Hall in Boston, I used the Gorfaine/Schwartz address in Los Angeles. Mr. Gorfaine is his agent, so I figured, send it as directly to him as possible. Symphony Hall probably forwards the mail elsewhere as Mr. Williams lives in Los Angeles and not Boston.
