Wrote to Mr. King at the address in the database about a month ago. I know he doesn't sign TTM but thought I'd try incase he starts again.

Bummer. Stephen King is a great author even if he is one of America's most notorious criminals.

I meet him in person in 1998 while I was working at Eckerd Drug Store in Sarasota, FL. He had a Summer home in Sarasota and came in the store to fill his prescription. Although he is a very private individual and doesn't like to be noticed in public- he was nice, and signed one or two autographs before he quickly left.

That's the dumbest conspiracy theory I've ever heard in my life!

He lives about 45 minutes away from me. I've always wondered if I wrote to him if he'd sign for a fellow Mainer, especially one so close.
I've met him a few times but never bothered to ask him for an autograph, I feel so weird doing it in person. The last time I saw him was a year ago in Borders, he was smoking a cigar in the store - and I bumped into him, literally as I was going around the corner. He had the DVD 1408 in his hand. Ha.
