I typed up the letter to him and sent him my story about dealing with Autism where I dedicated him to my story.

No i mean your letter. Did you write it by hand, or did you type it up and print it to send to him?

Mr. Hoffman, hand wrote the nice message to me and I didn't ask for the picture in my letter. I also added a letter to the production company to make sure my letter got to him.
