It is indeed an AP. I got mine back this week. I got a 24x30 large Christmas Vacation poster back that I sent him. Sure I would like his own personal signature, but in a way it is. Look at it that way. Also, at least he has setup an AP for his fans and doesn't just throw his fanmail in te garbage. :)

Two days ago I got this autograph from [b][color=#FF0000]CHEVY CHASE[/color][/b]. I was in a shock because I didn't even expect that he answer me! :) But I'm very happy right now because I really like him! He's so funny and great actor! And he even add one photo with autograph more! :mrgreen:

But now I'm not sure about authentic this autograph... It's not PP or AP for sure. He reply so rarely and autograph on my photos is similar to IP. So in my opinion this autograph is authentic. But I'm not sure. It might be secretarial... [b]All comments about authenticity are still welcome! [/b]
