While I agree some use it as an excuse, We should simply be grateful for those who don't.
There is no obligation for them to sign anything for anyone. No matter how much we'd love them to

Unfortunately dedicating everything prevents the ability for them to sign a batch and have someone else send them out.

My personal opinion on that is if someone doesn't like
there autographed being sold online then personalize
EVERYTHING. Personalization usually destroys the
retail value of an object. Can't be there to sign autos
all the time? Do like many others like Michal Buble & David
Becham & sit down with a stack of 4x6's and autograph
them all. When people ask for an autograph get there
assistant or manager stick one in the envelope and mail
it back. For ALL celebs it's nothing more than an excuse
to not have to sign autographs.

I have tried 3 or 4 times to obtain David's signature TTM and have received a PP on two occasions, and a simple letter of rejection on the others.

A bit more investigation and it appears that David Jason tends to only sign for larger recognised Charity auction/raffles TTM now. It is believed this is in objection to the profiteering of many traders. His signature can earn very large sums of money on the likes of Ebay or authorised dealers due to his huge success as an actor in the UK.

A shame, but I can understand his decision.
