How to send your fan mail and autograph requests to David Jason?:
If you want to request an autograph, follow the guidelines bellow. If you just want to mail a letter with the address above, and do not want anything back, then you can stop reading! If you live in UK send a properly stamped and self addressed envelope (minimum size 8.5" x 4") with your request letter and a photo. You can include a piece of cardboard to keep the photo from bending in shipping and also add "Do Not Bend" on the envelopes. Send your letter and wait. On average, there is going to be a 3+ month wait for a response. If you do not live in UK, add several* International Reply Coupons. The International Reply Coupons (IRC) will be used by the receiver to purchase english stamps. You can only get them at your post office. Place the IRCs into the envelope, not on it. 2/25/2009 - I didnt expect this one which makes it even more exciting,
I sent a letter via "Frost" last year, I got a PP back then but my SASE was kept.
And earlier this week I recieved his own large photo signed
I initially though it was dedicated but he had personalsied the plastic sleeve and not the photo itself

2/18/2009 - On 16 February 2009 I sent a letter, photo and SAE and received a reply by return of post.
My photo was returned unsigned with a letter stating "Unfortunately, due to his heavy film commitments, David is unable to personally sign photographs but hopes you will enjoy the enclosed pre-printed picture". I used the address in the database, care of The Richard Stone Partnership, 2 Henrietta Street, London WC2E 8PS
I did receive a nice pre-printed photo but it is obviously disappointing not to get his autograph as I love all his work. It would seem therefore that the recent success in this forum was shortlived. I am not sure that even sending a donation for his charity would help if he is genuinely busy.
