I was lucky enough to meet the champ at his final public show, it was at the national in chicago. Had a 16x20 photo signed, and he even him me.. wow what a memory. Was shocked when I seen him on tv a few weeks back... he lookd really bad.

He stopped signing at public events back in 2002, and now doesnt even sign at private events. The value of his signature is usually worth $1,000 - $5,000 depending on the item he signed. People who's signatures are worth so much do not sign thru the mail. Plus he's probably to sick now to sign anyways :neutral: Only way to get one from him is a complete chance encounter in the streets or to dish out the $$$ and buy one

I think Ali is too ill to sign these days. I wrote to him a few years ago and got an autopenned photo so i think probably that's all that would be sent.
Understandable as he does look pretty frail when you see him on tv now :-(

Tried sending to Muhammad Ali based on the address in the database. Sent 8/15, got it back 8/23.

Is the address on their label the correct one - do I send it to that one, or did they already try?
